I work with Chem-Dry of Seattle, and we definitely service both Seattle and Bellevue areas! We travel throughout King County and offer a 10% discount when booking multiple locations.

Our Hot Carbonating Extraction method is particularly well-suited for the Pacific Northwest climate because it uses 80% less water than traditional steam cleaning, which means carpets dry in 1-2 hours instead of 1-2 days. This significantly reduces the risk of mold and mildew growth in our humid environment.

For homes with pets, our Pet Urine Removal Treatment (P.U.R.T.®) is specifically designed to eliminate pet urine odors at the source, not just mask them. All our cleaning solutions are green-certified, non-toxic, and safe for kids and pets.

We’re currently offering a spring special: get 3 rooms cleaned and receive a free hallway cleaning. This offer is valid for both Seattle and Bellevue properties.

Feel free to check out our reviews on Google or give us a call at 206-382-1592 for a free estimate!

@Sarah – While Chem-Dry has its benefits, I’d like to offer a different perspective. I work with D.A. Burns & Sons, and we’ve been serving the Seattle area since 1935. We’re one of the oldest and most trusted carpet cleaning companies in the region, with locations in both Seattle and Bellevue.

Hot water extraction is recommended by most carpet manufacturers as the most effective method for deep cleaning. We’re certified by all major carpet mills, and our cleaning methods won’t void your carpet warranty.

For homes with wool carpets or Oriental rugs (which are common in many Seattle and Bellevue homes), we offer specialized cleaning services that protect these delicate fibers. We’re one of the few companies in the area with a dedicated rug washing facility.

We travel between Seattle and Bellevue daily and offer scheduling that works with your needs. For commercial clients with offices in both cities, we offer maintenance programs with significant discounts.

Our technicians undergo extensive training and certification, and many have been with us for over a decade. We also offer upholstery cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, and hardwood floor care.

You can reach us at 206-782-2268 for a free consultation.

I’ve used both Chem-Dry and D.A. Burns in the past, and both did a good job. But I recently discovered Alpine Specialty Cleaning and they’ve been amazing for my Queen Anne home and my Bellevue office.

What impressed me most was their attention to detail. They moved furniture, pre-treated heavy stains, and even cleaned the edges of the rooms where dust accumulates. Their technicians are certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) and really know their stuff.

They use truck-mounted equipment but have portable units for high-rise buildings (which was perfect for my Bellevue office on the 12th floor). They also offer a “Healthy Home Package” that includes sanitizing and applying a protective coating that’s been great for my kids with allergies.

The best part was they didn’t charge extra for traveling between Seattle and Bellevue – they have teams based in both cities. Their prices were reasonable too – about $189 for three rooms.

Their number is 206-489-2004 if anyone wants to check them out.

I’ve lived in both Seattle (Ballard) and Bellevue (Crossroads) over the past 10 years, and I’ve tried at least 6 different carpet cleaning companies. The best experience I’ve had by far is with Accel Carpet Cleaning.

What made them stand out was their thoroughness. They didn’t rush through the job like some other companies I’ve used. They spent time on stubborn stains and even came back free of charge to re-treat a coffee stain that reappeared a few days after cleaning.

They definitely travel between Seattle and Bellevue – the same technician has serviced both my properties. According to their website (https://accelcleaning.com), they’ve been established since 1994 and serve the entire Puget Sound area.

For pet owners – their pet urine treatment is amazing. We have two large dogs, and they completely eliminated the odor that had built up over time. Their prices are mid-range – not the cheapest, but definitely worth it for the quality.

Their truck-mounted equipment is powerful, and carpets are usually dry within 4-6 hours. They also offer a water repellent treatment that I’ve found helps carpets stay cleaner longer.

You can reach them at 206-947-1928 for a free estimate.

@Jennifer – Alpine is definitely a good company. I work with Green Planet Carpet Care, and we take a similar approach to quality but with an even stronger focus on eco-friendly practices.

For those concerned about environmental impact, we use only plant-based, biodegradable cleaning solutions with no harsh chemicals. Our equipment is also designed to use 30% less energy than standard machines.

We serve both Seattle and Bellevue with no travel fees between locations. For clients with multiple properties, we offer package deals that can save up to 25%.

Our hot water extraction method is effective while being gentle on carpets. We also offer specialized treatments for wool carpets and area rugs, which are common in many Seattle and Bellevue homes.

For those with asthma or allergies, our anti-allergen treatment removes 98% of allergens and can make a significant difference in indoor air quality.

We’re currently offering a new client special: $30 off your first cleaning. You can reach us at 425-968-7373 or visit our website for more information.

I manage several rental properties in both Seattle and Bellevue, and I’ve been using Anderson Carpet Cleaning for years (https://andersoncarpetcleaninginc.com). They’re reliable, consistent, and their pricing is transparent.

What works well for me is their ability to handle multiple properties efficiently. They can often clean 3-4 apartments in a single day, which is great for tenant turnover. According to their website, they’ve been serving North Seattle, Bellevue, and Everett since 1996.

Their truck-mounted equipment is powerful, and carpets are usually dry within 4-6 hours. They also offer a water repellent treatment that I’ve found helps carpets stay cleaner longer, which is great for rentals.

For property managers or landlords, they offer commercial rates and can work with your schedule for tenant move-outs. They’re also insured and bonded, which gives me peace of mind when sending them to properties.

They’re particularly good at handling the travel between Seattle and Bellevue properties, and they don’t charge extra for it if you book multiple locations.

You can reach them at 425-243-9779 for a free estimate.

@Mike – I’ve used D.A. Burns for my wool carpets and Oriental rugs, and they do excellent work. However, for regular carpet cleaning in my Seattle home and Bellevue office, I’ve found Angel’s Carpet Care to be more affordable while still providing quality service.

They’re a smaller, family-owned business, but they cover the entire Seattle/Bellevue area. What I appreciate most is their honesty – they don’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and their pricing is straightforward.

They use hot water extraction with a truck-mounted system, and they pre-treat high-traffic areas and spots at no extra charge. They also move and replace furniture with protective tabs to prevent damage.

For those traveling between Seattle and Bellevue, they offer same-day service for both locations if you book in advance. They also have evening and weekend appointments available, which is convenient if you work during the day.

Their number is 206-440-1000 if you want to give them a try.

I work from home and split my time between my Seattle condo and my partner’s house in Bellevue, so I needed a carpet cleaner that could service both locations. After trying several companies, I’ve been most impressed with Carpet Cleaning Time.

They’re based in Seattle but travel to Bellevue several times a week. What stood out to me was their knowledge about different carpet types. They identified that my Seattle condo has Smartstrand carpet and my partner’s Bellevue home has wool berber, and they adjusted their cleaning methods accordingly.

Their prices are reasonable – about $40 per room with a three-room minimum. They also offer area rug cleaning and can either clean them in your home or take them to their facility for more intensive cleaning.

For those concerned about chemical sensitivities, they offer a hypoallergenic cleaning option that uses minimal chemicals. Their standard cleaning solutions are also eco-friendly and low-VOC.

They’re a smaller company, so booking can sometimes require advance notice, but the quality is worth it. I found them on Yelp where they have great reviews. Their number is 206-487-9772.

I recently moved to Seattle from Portland and was shocked at how dirty my carpets got after just one rainy season! I tried DIY carpet cleaning at first, but it didn’t cut it with all the mud my kids tracked in.

I ended up using a local carpet cleaner in my Wallingford neighborhood who did a great job. They used some kind of special treatment for high-traffic areas that really made a difference.

Has anyone else noticed that Seattle carpets seem to get dirtier faster than in other cities? I’m wondering if it’s the combination of rain and the specific type of soil we have here.

Also, does anyone have recommendations for carpet cleaning companies that use eco-friendly products? I’m trying to reduce my environmental footprint.

@Emily – Yes! Seattle carpets definitely get dirtier faster. I think it’s the combination of rain, mud, and the fact that we track in more debris from all the evergreen trees.

I’ve found that getting my carpets professionally cleaned twice a year works best – once in the spring after the rainy season and once in the fall before we close up the house for winter.

One tip that’s worked for me is placing washable rugs in high-traffic areas, especially near doors. They catch a lot of the dirt before it gets to the carpet.

I’ve also invested in a good quality vacuum with a HEPA filter, which has made a big difference in keeping the carpets cleaner between professional cleanings. The Seattle dust seems finer than in other places I’ve lived.

I live in Capitol Hill and work in Bellevue, so I’ve used carpet cleaners on both sides of the lake. In my experience, the Seattle companies tend to be more eco-conscious, while the Bellevue ones often have more high-tech equipment.

One thing I’ve learned is to always ask about their drying process. With Seattle’s humidity, carpets can take forever to dry if they don’t have good extraction equipment. The last thing you want is damp carpets for days – that’s just asking for mold problems.

I’ve also found that the best carpet cleaners in Seattle are the ones who take time to pre-treat stains before cleaning. It makes a huge difference, especially for coffee stains (which, let’s be honest, every Seattle home has plenty of!).

Has anyone tried those carpet cleaning services that also do air duct cleaning? I’m wondering if it’s worth doing both at the same time.

I’ve been a Seattle resident for 15 years, and I’ve tried just about every carpet cleaning method out there. My conclusion: hot water extraction (steam cleaning) works best for our climate.

The dry cleaning methods just don’t seem to pull out the deep grime that builds up in Seattle carpets. Plus, with proper ventilation, steam-cleaned carpets dry pretty quickly even in our humid environment.

I’ve also found that paying a little extra for carpet protection treatment is worth it in Seattle. It helps repel the moisture and dirt that our weather constantly throws at us.

One warning though – be careful with companies that quote super low prices. I’ve fallen for that before and ended up with barely-cleaned carpets and a bunch of upsells. Better to pay a fair price upfront for quality service.

I run an Airbnb in Seattle and another in Bellevue, so I need reliable carpet cleaning regularly. The biggest challenge I’ve found is scheduling – the good companies are often booked weeks in advance, especially during peak cleaning seasons (spring and fall).

My tip: find a company you like and book recurring appointments in advance. Many offer discounts for regular customers, and you’ll never have to scramble to find availability.

Also, for Seattle vacation rentals, I’ve found that carpet cleaners who can also handle upholstery are essential. Our guests tend to spill more on furniture than on floors!

Has anyone found a carpet cleaner who can do same-day service in both Seattle and Bellevue? That would be ideal for my turnover days.
